Friends of St James Park

A large open area for circulation is one of the key features of this popular park, and improved landscaping has enhanced its appearance. In addition, safer surfaces have been installed and fences have been repaired and repainted.

Play equipment has been renewed over recent years in the two playgrounds, one of which is specifically for Under 7s and the other for Under 12s. All the items of equipment have been designed to encourage creativity and an imaginative approach to play. Some sports courts are also available.

There is no car park at St James Park, which can be reached by the following buses: 158, 230, W19, W15. The nearest station is St James Park.

Dogs on leads are welcome in St. James Park. However, they are not allowed into the play area, sports courts or multi-use areas.
